| SHIPPING & HANDLING - All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, Flat Rate Envelope, or boxes provided by the USPS. I ship to the US & US Territories. I'll also ship to other countries via USPS Priority Flat Rate Envelope. The cost is approximately $14.95 to all areas, Canada is $12.95, please inquire about your country. Shipping charges and methods shown below. Most smaller parts will fit in the envelope, and larger items of course in a box. Please select the correct packaging for parts ordered. Smaller parts may be combined into an envelope. Do ensure you select the proper method & location so shipping will be applied. I do get some orders where folks fail to complete proper shipping information, and that will delay an order, or cancellation on my part. Usually Ships In 2 to 3 Business Days - this normally means it is taken to the Post Office in 2 to 3 days, and I do wish to clarify this. Obviously, per additional details below, orders placed on Saturday afternoon, will not ship until Thursday. Even should I take it to the Post Office on Monday, it will not leave island until Thursday. Refer to flight schedule below. If ordering oil or larger items, and if they fit into the Video type boxes, I will package in those instead. Larger items, or items that I consider rather fragile, will be boxed. Delivery Conformation Delivery Conformation is now available at no additional charge, when available, and if available depending on payment method. I highly recommend using PayPal as your payment source. You can pay with a Credit Card via PayPal, and are not required to have a PayPal account. Time Frame: it may take as long as 2 weeks to receive your part, hopefully less, but I do live in American Samoa. General turn around time for most has been 10 to 14 days. Update November 1, 2007: I am hearing from folks in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Florida, that their orders arrive in approximately 6 days. These are orders that normally make a Thursday flight. Sometimes I hear of 4 to 5 days, if orders have went out on a Sunday flight. If you order on a Sunday, your package will not ship until Thursday, same for orders placed Monday - Wednesday night, if I catch an order Thursday morning before going to work, will make all efforts to package it, and place on the Thursday flight. Orders placed Thursday, Friday & Saturday morning before 10:30am my time, will go out on the Sunday flight. See Flight Schedules below. If you feel the shipping time is outside your expectations, please go ahead and cancel your order - no worries - I do understand Lost Packages: I will not be responsible for packages lost by the Postal Service - has happen more than once now & I have been rather generous, and have sent a replacement, this will no long be my practice. Opt for the Delivery Confirmation, provides the Post Office with a tracking number. It does not provide us with any tracking options, only the fact the package is delivered. This will help in the event of a lost package. If such an event occurs, and you opt for the Delivery Confirmation I will ship another package free of charge If you do not opt for it - as above - I will not be held responsible for lost packages - sorry folks but some rules have to apply During the Winter Months, do allow for airport closures & delays Boxes: We only have 1 cargo flight a week. It usually comes in on Fridays, but the schedule is subject to change. If the part misses that weeks flight out, it will not ship from the Post Office until the following weeks cargo flight. This generally applies to the larger boxes. Envelopes: We have 2 flights a week from Hawaiian Air, and they will carry Flat Rate Envelopes, Video Boxes. My apologies for the delay, but it is out of my control. Hence I try to offer my parts for a little less, and save by shipping USPS Priority Mail - Flat Rate, and besides, who else can say they got their part from an Exotic South Pacific Island!!! Flight Schedules American Samoa is serviced by Hawaiian Air Lines. Hawaiian flies into America Samoa on: Thursday @ 9:00pm & Sunday @ 9:00pm - an extra flight is added during the summer months, and at Christmas time. Those days are determined by Hawaiian Air, sometimes Monday's, Wednesday's, or perhaps a Tuesday...we don't know until the extra flights are scheduled. Hawaiian Air may alter flight schedules at any given time, or if there is a problem with the plane, it may be delayed until Friday, or Monday. As a note, I go to the Post Office Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, and again Saturday around 10:30am. Orders placed Saturday after 10:30am, will not ship until the following Thursday, unless received before I have left for the Post Office. Post Office hours vary, currently open till 1:00pm, time is subject to change, and they may close at 12:00noon. It takes me anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour to reach the Post Office... We have 1 road...and if it is a major Holiday, White Sunday, or road work is being done, it does take a good hour to get to town. I only live 9 miles from the Post Office, but again...one road...major traffic jam. I have seen traffic backed up from town to what we call Coconut Point, and then some. That is over 6 miles of backed up traffic...moving at less than walking speed :) About Downloads: Please see the Home Page (click the link to the left), middle commentary section about Downloadable items. Have just added two new boxes to the collection of shipping materials.
A larger, and smaller class video box. These are great for times I'd rather not ship in
an envelope, and the cost is the same as a Flat Rate Envelope. Depending on your
item ordered, I will either place as usual, in a Priority Flat Rate Envelope, or opt to
