These are the contact springs that fit the slide on terminals.  If your control has the screw on terminal, no worries, just cut the ring terminal off and solder into place, or fit with a
slide on terminal.  Available at most hardware stores.  Note: available, a guide to fix up those Clam Shell Controllers, check the front page
I realize these are expensive parts, but does keep the machine original, and most do favor the clam shell control over some cheaper units available
